Ashanti Shequoiya, better known by the name Ashanti, is a famous American singer and actress. She is a singer songwriter and actor of in the United States. Ashanti became famous as a teenager. In 2002, she signed with Murder Inc. Records. Ashanti was featured in the Fat Joe's What's Luv? song that same year. The Fat Joe's What's Luv and Foolish? In the case of Foolish and The What's Luv as the top two songs and her first number one hit, she was the only woman to record two songs in the Billboard Hot 100 chart top ten in the United States. The first female artist to have the top two spots on The Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States and with the number one spot held by Foolish. one and the other being What's Loving? We will be celebrating the birthday of her favorite actress. Ashanti Douglas also known as Ashanti as she is more often referred to was born in Glen Cove New York in 1980. Tina Douglas is the mother of Ashanti and Ken Kaide Douglas serves as the her father. Kenashia Shai Douglas is her sister. She is the oldest of them all. Ashanti sampled the track of 1983 by DeBarge Stay With Me on her debut single Foolish. Ashanti released her self-titled debut album in 2002. It was released via Irv Goti's Murder Inc. label. The Declaration the fourth studio album was released on June 3, 2008. Hey Baby was released for radio and digital on the 16th of October, 2009. The actress starred in the movie Christmas in the City and was Latasha Montclair on Army Wives. Aitch was a sampler of Rock wit U in his Baby 10th March 2022 song.
