Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most famous role was that of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna began her career in Chicago, working in theatre roles for many years. Then she moved to Hollywood and began acting in films and TV shows. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's, she was given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. Skyler was her role on Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional career. Gunn appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also appeared in a series of audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's personal story as well as the stress on the relationship he has with Skyler is mirrored in the series.
